I purchased one of these for my X axis on my 3D printer. After thoroughly cleaning out the shipping grease with WD-40, and re-oiling with some bearing oil, the carriage block slides effortlessly and smoothly. for the price, it's worth it if you do the tune up procedure.

I added this to my X axis and it worked great.I did clean and regressed it after reading comments on other rails so I figured I would do the same.

The wires are easy to get on the connectors however when you push them into the housing they are hard to get them to click into place

I used these to make a custom corexy printer, and they are running smooth. I purchased 3 of the single-carriage 450mm size, and all three came clean and running smooth. I previously had other knockoff rails that cost less, but the old sets didn't run as smooth, and eventually started binding. These have been running longer than the previous set and are still running smooth. They were also well packaged; in undamaged plastic sleeve, and held between foam ends. Be aware of the couple of extra ball bearings in a small bag stapled to the plastic sleeve. Keep the red plastic bumpers around and use them to keep everything together if you need to disassemble.

The rail looks to be very cleanly produced. It has actual recirculating bearings. I added a few drops of PTFE oil and works remarkably smooth.

Ever since I found this type of connector, I use them on most anything that I might think may have to come apart. Lights / relays / switches / etc. Keeps things neat and simple. You have to have some decent eyesight, and preferably a good wire crimper. I haven't had any issues with these, and keep LOTS of them on hand in all different pin configurations (2 / 3 / 4 pin)! They work best on probably 18 ga wire, but I have used them successfully on 16 and 14 gauge, you just have to use a bit more patience and finesse to get the crimp right.Slide the yellow silicone water barrier up over your wire. Then strip a tiny bit off the end of your wire, slide it into the 'cradle' of the little metal pin, use a small pair of needle nose to push the forward 'flaps' over the exposed wire (your insulation should be butted up to these). Use a good crimp to squeeze these 'flaps' onto your wire (or just use your needle nose if you don't have a crimper). Then the rearward 'flaps' will fold over onto the insulation ( squeeze these down too) to help hold everything. The only thing I have to do (usually twice!) is figure out which way the pin will slide in and lock. You'll know it when it's right. It'll click into place.Love these connectors, especially after I figured out the best way to install. Just takes a bit of practice to get it right, but I don't install anything on my Jeep without these anymore!

I am really happy with these connectors. I have installed at least three so far on my 92 Wrangler. I would recommend these and will continue to use these and buy more when I run out. Buying the proper tool helps with crimping. I think buying the tool is a must.

Can’t compare to anything since these are the first linear rails I’ve used. They came packaged well and straight. Not major dings, but the carriage blocks were not identical between the four rails I got. They were all the same size and bolt pattern, but the internals were all a bit different.Don’t have an accurate enough caliper to verify the ball size, but my caliper measure 2.38 for the balls. Take that for what you will. After a good cleaning and some super lube synthetic grease these are working quite well on my ender 3 pro. Time will tell how reliable they are.
